The Little Hungaropedia is a design booklet series. The goal is to show the essence of Hungary in a funny, light-hearted way through the locals eye. The project started in 2011, and we made six booklets since then: the Little Balatonopedia, Little Bathopedia, Little Clichépedia, Little Marketopedia, Little Pubopedia, and the Little Pálinkapedia. The We Love Publishing embraced the project in 2013, and after a long work together, we are pleased to tell that in November 2014, the first six books of the series were published. They are available in English, Italian and Hungarian.
Each book has it’s own colour, a colour that is suitable for the topic. We were printing in duotone and were caferul about the paper waste during the production process to make our project eco-friendly.
The text and the illustrations are made with a sarcastic humor. I believe humor is a great way of communication and helps to bring people closer to things.
